I really liked the "tooth of the week" feature. Was it taken off because of a lack of interest or just too difficult to maintian?
Gentlemen, fear not. The tooth of the week feature is not gone. I haven't moved it over from the old site yet, but I am working on it right now. I want to change a little bit, but I think it will be for the better. For the last few years there has been increasingly more people sending in photos of top quality stuff. Its getting harder for me to select the best of all of them - besides, who am I to judge?? The way I came up with to fix it was to rename Tooth of the Week to Reader Submissions. This way, we can post more than one tooth in a week without breaking the Paleo-Directive (anyone??? anyone???). And on top of that, any member of this site who posts trip reports can post a reader submission. Where I ultimately want to take this is to have you, the fans of this site vote on what you think is the best of the week or month or whatever duration from all the stuff that the members think is good. Its a little more interactive and a lot more fun in my opinion.
What do you think? Is this a good idea or is it better the way it was with yours truly hogging all the fun in picking just one tooth? Some people say if it ain't broke don't fix it...
They say that variety is the spice of life, and I feel the same applies to shark teeth. I don't have a problem with looking at several sweet teeth at the same time. I realize that more teeth will increase the drool factor, but I'm willing to risk it.
Sounds great to me.
As great teeth can also be found outside the US, I assume non-US residents may also send in pictures?
Cheers, Paul
