Last week at PCS I was walking down one of the hills and another guy was walking from another direction about 20 feet in front of me.  I hear him give a " waaa hoooo" and he looked at me and said "look at that". It was a 4 1/2"-5" beautifully colored meg, with a small part of the corner broken off.  I have never found anything over 3" and this was "almost" my lucky day.    

After talking to several of the regulars at PCS, it seems that a number of employees walk the mine on the weekdays and sell the stuff to PCS.  So, after that big rain you were waiting for to expose the fossils, chances are that the PCS employees have been there ahead of you.
