New to Charleston need to dig this weekend

It's very exciting to stumble upon a website that is so active in such a fun hobby.  My name is Bill and I moved here from the Southern Maryland aka Calvert Cliffs area.  My girlfriend is coming down this weekend and we need to go find some fossils/a tooth.  It doesn't have to be a whopper, just something that will raise our blood pressure (it doesn't take much).  Any advice on where to go / what "tools" are required?

Thanks in advance and I look forward to meeting other members and partipating in future hunts!

Welcome to sunny SC! Here's link to a good SC Fossil Hunting Location. There is information on that page about what to bring and where to look.
