Re: Memorable moments of 2007

My most memorable moment was getting the email from Cetacean telling me that I could have two of the extra spots to get into PCS in the spring. That was my first time in the mine. Just the thought of collecting there makes my heartrate increase! Thanks again Cetacean. Coming in a close second was finding the partial porpiose skull in a clay block at Brownie's Beach. I wonder what will be my most merorable in 2008?

Re: Memorable moments of 2007

This past year had a few memorable moments, since this was my first year collecting. To begin with, I want to thank(again)Cetacean for the spot to hunt at PCS in the spring. What an experiance,it was great!Another highlight was meeting other members of BRF and receiving pointers on  how and where to look. As for finds, there all good. The 1.5" well worn tooth at 2am on the beach,the 4 1/4" meg which proved to me that there are large teeth to be found. But the best moment came when I took my son in law to PCS this past fall and he came up with a perfect 3 1/4" meg. It's all been good and fun and I'm looking forward to another exciting year.
