Re: Article about scuba diving the Edisto River

Will I have any trouble navigating the stretch between 17 & 17A in an 18 foot aluminum boat?  I do most my diving out of it in the Savannah River but I've never been on the Edisto.

Thanks in advance.

yah there will be some spots that you can't get a boat that size through. that is if you're even able to launch it.

Re: Article about scuba diving the Edisto River
Hi, Just registered and wanted to say that was an awesome article. My husband and I and our seven kids live on the Edisto and we have been eating up your site. I was so stoked to find it and it has done great things for us on identification. We are so excited to be able to name what we are finding. The kids and my husband go down the dock and search almost everyday. Anyway Thanks for what your doing, its great.

Re: Article about scuba diving the Edisto River

Welcome, EdistoMomma! I'm so glad you found the article enjoyable and the information on this site valuable. The Edisto is just about my favorite place to hunt. There are so many awesome things to be found there! We were there just last week and found some great stuff.

Re: Article about scuba diving the Edisto River

What do you use to get your gear to the dive site or to look around for new places?  I have access to a small 12ft jon boat do you reckon it's small enough or do I need to break down and get a canoe?  Sorry for all the questions but thanks for your help.
