Off shore dive success

Hello Everyone,

I got lucky offshore with two great days of diving 40 miles off the coast at 115ft.   On the 5th and last dive for teeth of the 2nd day of the charter I finally got lucky.   I have a short summery of action posted and some photos on my blog at www.okinawarelics.com for anyone that wants a little more detail.

Re: Off shore dive success
I would love to get more details on your dives but I can't seem to find any blog that references sharks teeth once I go to www.okinawarelics.com . Can you please provide me a little more direction.  Thanks!

When you open the link go the the Okinawa relics blog page and you can read his post. The charter he took looks like it was with Capefeardivers.  I am actually going on a charter to the same fossil ledges on August 15th with Aquatic Safaris out of Carolina beach, if anyone else wants to go I think the charter still has room.

Re: Off shore dive success

I know next to nothing about diving, but diving 115ft sounds impressive and dangerous.  I didn't know you could dive that deep without a special suit or submersible.  The things we do for the lure of the Megalodon!

Re: Off shore dive success

Hey Mick, Love to join you with Aquatic's but too late to ask for a day off.  Anyway, a secret tool if you hand fan is to buy  swim stroke paddles from a sports store.  Use one of them on the dive then you can push more sand and debris with your fan hand if you have this strapped on.  Time well spent on the bottom = fossils/money !
