I just read the Lee Creek Fall 2008 season is a go on the Friends of the Aurora Fossil Museum site. I am already salivating!

Re: Lee Creek Fall 2008 Fossil Collecting Season Announced

Hey DW, are you going to try for some slots for BRFC again this season?  I've been checking the Friends site every day waiting for the announcement of the season, and I'm drooling with anticipation too!  I've been there twice, and been skunked on Megs every time, but I'm sure that the third time will be the charm!

Tom,

I already requested slots so now I'm in the finger-crossing stage. I'll post a message here if they are granted.

Re: Lee Creek Fall 2008 Fossil Collecting Season Announced

I know just what you are going through Joel. I already have every calendar in the whole house and my office highlighted with all the weekends for the whole season just to be sure nothing gets planned that could get in the way of going. The routine of checking every site I know with any info possible at least every couple hours of the day has started. If I still have a job and a fiance by the time the season starts it will be a miracle!!With that said, I hope to see some of you there..
