Okay, I've dug in the ditches. I've waded through shopping carts. I have dug in dirt for days and yet, I have failed to find a single tooth. Well, actually I found a very nice size Fossilized Great White back in the 3rd grade, 20 years ago. Just give me some hope. Keep on diggin or hang the shovel up. I really have no idea what I am doing other than looking like a homeless man in the ditches. Hey, find me one single tooth and you can call me ditch man for life. I have even tried to prepare myself on a steady diet of fossil fuel (taco bell). Any suggestions? Thanks and your site is the sh*t!

Remember the old saying by Ditchweezel... finding fossils is easy, finding where to find the fossils is tough. You need to study your area geology and find out where the layers are and what type of sediment to look for. Where I live I can look out my car window and tell if a site is worth digging in. Don't waist your time digging where there are no fossils.
