Fossil Shows
Would be more than grateful if anyone in the NC or SC area knew of any good fossil shows that were worth attendance. Thanks, Garry from Florida

Re: Fossil Shows
I believe Aurora holds their fossil festival on memorial day weekend. I was there last year as a display setup and it was pretty good. A few decent vendors and plenty of good eats, haha. I think you would enjoy it. Jim Hartsell ECFC(East Coast Fossil Club) Editor

Re: Fossil Shows
There is one at Cypress Gardens in Berkely County, SC (not to be confused with Florida)in the fall. I'm not sure of the date so give them a call or look on-line.

Re: Fossil Shows
THanks! Actually made the haul from Florida to Aurora but what a waste. I figured it being in Aurora and all and being called "The Fossil Fest" that it would be a nice show. I knew I was in trouble when the first person I asked about fossils replied, "Sh*T...Fossils...I don't even know why they call it the fossil fest." I couldn't figure out why either. My advice: Even if you live 10 mintues away and not 750 miles, it is still a waste of 10 minutes.

Re: Fossil Shows
I recently called Cypress Gardens and they said their 2003 fossil show will be November 22nd. Next year they plan to combine all of the Natural history shows together.
