idea for this site

Hey Everybody, I thought of an idea and I wondered if you who come here often would like it. Remember the tooth of the week? Well, I was almost finished re-writing it when it hit me. The name would change to fossil of the week, and it would be a place to list the coolest fossil picture we got for any certain week. Everyone out there who wants to put up a fossil pic can. There will be a place for you to tell about it, and then your stuff becomes a part of the site for people to view. Then everyone could vote on stuff that was submitted, and presto, the votes determine the fossil of the week. Would you like that? Or is the old tooth of the week idea better? Thanks for telling me what you think. weEz

Interesting idea. However, considering you had trouble getting tooth pictures with the last tooth of the week( I lost my digital camera so couldn't submit), I don't know if you would be able to get enough pics and people to vote. Personally, I would prefer the old tooth of the week. I always looked forward to the next post, just like trips. But I do like the idea of expanding it to include other fossils. I finally did find my digital camera, so next good teeth I find, I'll be sending you pics. Thats my two cents. Drew

I like the idea for the fossil of the week. But I don't think we should vote for the best. I think you would be a good judge and are informed enough pick a good picture. Besides all of our schedules may conflict with voting time. Or would it be too much to put them all up when you update your page?

Well, I was thinking of more of an automatic thing. Your items show up as soon as you enter them, and you could vote whenever. I really wouldn't have to do anything besides implement it. I think it would add a new aspect to the site. Of course, the old tooth of the week would be cool, too.

yah me too. We're supposed to be going this weekend for the first time this year. i LOVE diving! Can't wait to hit that layer. I can see the megs poking out of the banks when I close my eyes! I'm such an addict...
