extreme low tide on the chesapeake
Did anyone else go out on the Chesapeake Sunday?? There was an extreme low tide caused by a wind event and an added bonus was clear water all day and very little wave action. I would have killed for access to the plum point area because I'm sure one could have made out like a thief there. As it was, there wasnt much to be had at randle cliff, but patience paid off and I found a few nice items in the water including a 2" squalodon premolar (broken tip unfortunately), 2 other large dolphin? teeth, a thick 1.75" diameter meg vetebrae centra, 3 cows (none in perfect condition), and a beautiful 1.75" I. Hastalis. Did anyone else have any luck anywhere on the bay? I bet no one who has access to the prime spots will reply because they dont need the help of this forum, but I can only imagine how they could have fared!
