Let's hear some stories...

With all of the fossil-addicts that view this great site I am sure that there are many great stories to be told. What's your favorite tooth/fossil in your collection? How did you originally become interested in fossils to begin with? And usually there is a story about "some old guy" you've met years ago that had been fossil collecting since he was a little boy and he had access to some prime spots all of his life, surely he had some awesome pieces in his collection. Since we cannot sit together and discuss these stories in person I thought it may be nice to share them in this forum. As for me I am writing a report/story of my collecting in Maryland. I am 22 years old and have only been collecting for about 6 years so I am sure that I will not have the best stories, but nevertheless I want to share them. As soon as I am finished I hope to share it with you all, but until then I hope we can hear some of yours.
