Green Mill Run
Thanks to the great owners of this site, i had a very successful trip ( as far as im concerned) to Greenville for a tooth hunt on Sat. It was my first time ever going out, and i came home with tons of smaller teeth, a few decent tiger shark teeth, and one pretty good Great White about an inch long. Overall for a first time ever hunt, i think i did ok, and cant wait to try out some new spots. Thanks again Ditchweezle

RE: Green Mill Run
Has anyone ever searched below the pedestrian bridge just downstream of the elm st bridge or more than 50-100 yards upstream of the elm street bridge? I has never searched either of those areas and wonder if it's worth the time.

RE: Green Mill Run
Is everone on spring break? I was wondering if I was venturing into "can't share that kind of info" territory because it might give up some secret shark tooth hunting location? I just was hoping for generalities.

RE: Green Mill Run
Hey Chimp, i would have replied sooner, but i hadnt checked this in a min. If i would have been in the area, i would have tried to meet up with you. Every time i have gone i hit up the same spot by the 10th street bridge. I wouldnty call it a "secret" since i was directed on the area from this site... haha. I havnt hit up any other spots yet, its a few hours drive for me to get there, im down in Fayetteville. But i dot want to try and get up there again soon, ill try some other spots this time and let you know.

RE: Green Mill Run
I checked out Green mill run with little luck today. I have found some decent stuff before between the elm st bridge and the pedestrian bridge.

Is it worth digging through the sand or just find the gravel places on the bottom of the stream to dig? Also, as I mentioned before is it worth looking upstream of the elm st bridge or downstream of the pedestrian bridge? I know you guys don't want to give away any exact spots - I'm just looking for general comments.

One last question, have any of you found great white teeth where I have been looking - just downstream of the elm st bridge?
Thanks.

RE: Green Mill Run
Hey Chimp,

I've found most all my great white teeth downstream from
the pedestrian bridge located behind picnic area and ball
field. The creek from this point all the way downstream
to Green Springs Park is collectable. Look for gravel
on the creek bed to find the teeth rather than the soft
sand.
