low tide i the bay
On saturday a storm syster rolled in bringing ice, snow, rain, and most important the wind. The tide became 2 feet over normal then the wind started to push water out of the bay. This caused the tide to be 1 foot below the predicted which was 2 feet below so we had a three foot below normal tide.As me and my dad were walking on the frozen sand bars of Brownies Beach i noticed a green paper frozen under a layer of sand so i picked it up and it was a dollar. ten we kept walking laughing about are find of the day and i look down and find a 1.5 inch hemi.which was cool so my dad stuck around thinking he would fid something biger and i walked yes walked past the navel base which i thought was amazing.I started walking along and came across two guys sitting on a rock and they called me over to a rock that had a part of a whale skull. i also noticed that this area is allways under water so they got lucky. I started walking down further and i found two verts and decided to walk back. Whe i made it back my dad had found a 7 inch vert. and a 3 inch vert. so a lesson for the wise go when the tide is low.
