Anyone off next week & wanna hunt?

hey gang,

I'm taking some well-earned vaca next week, and want to do some huntin' in eastern NC. It's always nice to have company. Anyone game?

hi Nate,

Sorry, didn't get your post until after my vacation. Actually, during the week it was a bust. 3 of the quarries I tried to get in were closed, so I spent the weekdays doing other things. Sigh. But I did find some keeprs at the Aurora Fossil Festival on Saturday (using the Silver Pick), 3 large C. xiphodons on Sunday in PCS and 6 very nice Great Whites from Greens Mill Run on Monday, so it wasn't completely awash. Drop me a line next time you're up in the area & want to go collecting.

hey im game.im in the charleston area and have a week to kill.and im on a tooth frenzy until i got to leave for a few months.ill be glad to meet at some of the local fossil places but im sworn in to not give up the secrets of south carolina.however the local spots still produce everyday.i have taken class rooms out to some of these well known spots(not the ditches)and 50%of them came across megs and angy frags and a few went home with collectors size and quality.so if your in town and wanna hunt let me know.
