My 7 year old girl is obsessed with shark teeth....

My 7 year old girl is obsessed with shark teeth....

For as long as I can remember, my daughter has been obsessed with sharks teeth. She has always purchased hers at various places such as the flea market. I think she would be so excited if she could find her own, but I have no idea how to go about this. I live in the Ladson/Summerville area and I saw that you can find sharks teeth at places such as Eagle Creek. I hope that I don't sound too ignorant, but how do we search for sharks teeth in a place like that? Do we actually go INTO the ditch and dig, or can we search nearby? I also remember a dirt hill in a trailer park near the fairgrounds that was full of sharks teeth, but that was over 15 years ago. It was also recommended that I search for teeth in neighborhoods that are being dug up for new homes, but again I have no idea how to go about doing this.

I guess was my main question is: Where can I search for sharks teeth that would be safe for a child to search for sharks teeth?

Can't help you with details on the Summerville area, that is for others. I can tell you though, me and a lot of other Europeans can only dream of living in an area where shark teeth are so abundant.
Perhaps I can do your little girl a favour by sending over some European teeth?
