Shark tooth huntin' with children in Summerville?
For as long as I can remember, my daughter has been obsessed with sharks teeth. She has always purchased hers at various places such as the flea market. I think she would be so excited if she could find her own, but I have no idea how to go about this. I live in the Ladson/Summerville area and I saw that you can find sharks teeth at places such as Eagle Creek. I hope that I don't sound too ignorant, but how do we search for sharks teeth in a place like that? Do we actually go INTO the ditch and dig, or can we search nearby? I also remember a dirt hill in a trailer park near the fairgrounds that was full of sharks teeth, but that was over 15 years ago. It was also recommended that I search for teeth in neighborhoods that are being dug up for new homes, but again I have no idea how to go about doing this.

I guess was my main question is: Where can I search for sharks teeth that would be safe for a child to search for sharks teeth in the local Summerville/Ladson area?

RE: Shark tooth huntin' with children in Summerville?
miss cat contact me @ rancid29405@yahoo.com hunters never give out there spots here most of the time . i have a safe place i take my 8 year old that most here know about and its a flat area that could be safely driven on.i wouldnt give this(or any) location out if i knew it would disrespect some of our lowcountry hunters and from what i know nobody is claiming this place as a secret place anymore.however youll be able to find bunches of teeth here and the good ole angustidens and some meg.there are also alot of ray plate and smaller cool teeth.just contact me and ill be delighted to give this location out only for the sake of the child.ditches can be dangerous for children so this place you can enjoy the veiw and meet other hunters learning the ways of the hunt.
talk to you later
