To Jax from Texas

Thanks for the high score on my trip report

I still have to work on the ammonites, so maybe I can send some pic by e-mail. I couldn't find your e-mail address here so maybe you can send me a mail.

I think it was september last year when I saw the ammonite and the other stuff you and Paul found. And I was actually verry happy to trade a few things with Paul

Greetings,

Martijn

Re: To Jax from Texas

Yeah we had a blast, And he took home some nice stuff, not counting what we traded.  He made the offer that I can come hunt there anytime i want, and I am in the works with the Wife on planing a trip that way.  Theres just so many places to visit and so many fossils to be found.

I think he told me he traded off one of the Urchins I traded him, its ok.  But if you saw where I had to go to get it, then you would wonder why I would even give it up.  I climbed down on the ledge of the quarry about 40feet up and crawled in mud to pick up 2 of the nicest urchins I have ever found.  Seems after they fall sometimes they get damaged, or I just cant find them.  I just visited that quarry a few weekends ago and I have some pictures to post from there.  Nothing great, but I did find 3 Urchins attached.  Paul called them the 3 sisters!  I still have to clean them a bit and get a pic of them.  No huge Ammonites this time
