Inversand Pit in Sewell, NJ

I know from posts that some BRF members have been to the Inversand Pit in Sewell, NJ. I have been wanting to collect there for many years and I am now starting to put some serious thought into going within the next year if at all possible. For those of you who have been there, how do you sign up? I know its a NJ State Museum research site, so does the museum offer trips there like the VMNH (Virginia Museum of Natural History) offers public trips to their research sites? I would be very interested in any info anyone has.

FromtheArundel110, I received the registration form from The Friends of the New Jersey State Museum last week. They have trips to the Inversand Pit on September 27,2008 and May 2,2009. If you would like the registration form e-mail your address to me and I'll mail it to you.

Thanks for the info svillej, I dont think I'll go to the pit this year, maybe I'll hit up the streams in Monmouth instead on my trip north to Jersey, but thanks for the info anyway.
