fossil fish identification?
howdy! Fellow fossil-hound from Delaware (I was actually collecting with you, Ditchweezil, at Lee Creek last weekend!). Question: anyone know of any good guides to Miocene/Pliocene fish fossils? I have a slew of bones (mostly verts) from Lee Creek and other east coast locales, but can't seem to find much in the way of ID guides. Any thoughts? Second question: Anybody have any bony fish material for sale or trade? thanks! Keith

RE: fossil fish identification?
Hey Keith, the third Lee Creek Mine volume (unfortunately out of print) has the bony fish material identified. Also. elasmo.com now has bony fish from Lee Creek in addition to all the shark material. Good Luck.
