Bob nice pictures. You have some good stuff. I will try and add some pictures of my NY finds.
That is one neat find. I would imagine that if it fits into the hand comfortably than its probably a tool of some sort. Maybe something used to pierce hids with?? When in doubt you can always label it some sort of "scraper".
