Say bmorefossil, I collect in the same area and have never found anything that looks like your pac-man specimen(s). Since you found more than one, it must be something right? But what? A first guess is some sort of bone, perhaps vertebra. Does it look bone-like (porous) up close? It's fun finding new stuff, but not so fun when you hav a bunch of unidentified "stuff". I have two specimens of "something" that look identical, but no one has ever been able to help me ID them. So, you may have to settle for leaving them in a box of unknowns for now. Over time you're bound to see your specimen ID'd on someone's website, eBay, etc.
Daryl.
I have found several of those fossils also. I have been told they are nasal plates from an Ocean Sunfish. I haven't taken one down to CMM to let them confirm that yet but I have some other stuff I want to take down soon so I'll take one along and let you know what you have.
