Tlowe, I occassionally includes pics in my threads, but sometimes have trouble getting them to display, or if they do display they show up smaller than I expected.  Therefore, DW can probably help out in this area better than I, but here's a few tips on how I go about adding an image.

To add a picture or image, start a new thread, or simply reply to an existing thread.  At the bottom of the thread window there is always a button labeled "Add Image".  [THB]Otodus7.jpg[/THB]

1)  Click on the "Add Image" button at the bottom of the thread window.
2)  This opens a new window labeled "Forum Image" in the upper left corner of the window.  This window shows you all of the previously loaded images, and is where you will see your image(s) loaded once you finish "uploading" them to DW's server.
3)  At this bottom of this window you will see "Add File" - click on this.
4)  This opens another window, labeled "Add Gallery Files".  This is where you will select your image(s) to be loaded.
5)  Fill out the title, description, and check the category box (image) that applies.
6)  Then click "Browse".  This will allow you to go to the area on your own computer to select your image file.  Select your file and click ok to return to the window,
7)  You should now see the path with filename displayed.
8)  Look just below this area and you'll see the word "Add" - click this.
9)  Now look just a little below this area and see the word "Upload" - click this.
10)  If done correctly, your image just got uploaded to the server computer.  Look through the list of images in the table to see if your image file is there.
11)  You can repeat steps 6 through 9 if you have additional images to upload.
12)  When done, scroll down and click "Close".  This should return you to the "Forum Image" window.
13)  Click "Next" to go through the successive images until you see the ones you uploaded.
14)  To get your image to show up in the thread, click on it in the  "Forum Image" window.  Then click on the thread window to see if it got displayed correctly.
15)  It is at this point that I sometimes have trouble with the image displaying properly.  I think it has to do with the original size of your image (how big is it on the screen).  Sometime I can get the image to display, but it shows up real small like the size of a postage stamp.  Then other times it comes out larger, again not sure why exactly (DW, can you help here?).  Sometimes it shows the html code as well with no image?
16)  If you want to just experiment with displaying sample images, just try clicking on the various images already loaded in the Fiorum Images window and see how they show up in your thread window.

I haven't tried the preview button at the bottom of the thread window, not sure how that works.
