Tooth from the Aurora Museum Pile

Anyone care to identify a tooth we found sorting through the museum dirt?  It looks like a minature chocolate chip or morsel.  It 's got a flat round base with a small pointed dagger blade coming up from the base.  All of my pictures of it aren't any good due to me getting sand in the camera while I was in the mine back in March.  If anyone has a decent picture of what they think it could be, please feel free to post and I'll let you know if that's it.

Thanks

Jack

Re: Tooth from the Aurora Museum Pile

Jack, my first thought was that you are perhaps describing a bramble shark dermal denticle, or some other type of denticle.  I have a pic of a bramble denticle, but I can't seem to get it to upload here (keep getting a runtime error).  Send me an email and I'll reply with the pic I have.
