Edisto River SC teeth -- need ID please
Good evening everyone!
Today my husband, dog and I went out to the Edisto River in SC. We found 2 definite teeth and 1 that I think is a large tooth, but has lost part of the enamel (?) and so I'm not positive. All three are in the same pic for relative size. The big one is about 1.5 inches in length, and the others less than an inch.

I suppose the pics would help.

Re: Edisto River SC teeth -- need ID please

the big one is most likely a megalodon or angustidens but there's not enough for a definitive ID. The middle one could be giant thresher, benedeni, or hemiprisis. The one on the right could be megalodon, bull, dusky, or angustidens. sorry i can't be more exact than that, but its very tough to ID from pix when the teeth are worn.

How was the water? I love the Edisto this time of year. No wetsuit required!

Re: Edisto River SC teeth -- need ID please
The water was FANTASTIC! I don't dive -- I barely swim -- so I was just wading and sifting. I could see the bottom nearly everywhere, except where it was deep. Definitely heading back there again soon!
Thanks for your help! I can't wait to go back and see what else is hiding!
