A worn and complete posterior meg tooth. Nice bourlette on this tooth.

My best meg of the trip. I saw it laying out completely exposed on the bottom. It also has some very nice symmetry.

This Pungo megalodon tooth was definitely my trip maker. I'm glad I brought my camera because the ground shot is great. The preservation on this tooth is unreal! I've been internally conflicted about what to call this, Chubutensis or Megalodon. I found it in the Pungo formation which is where chubs come from and there is the hint of cusps just below the root on each side. A gorgeous Aurora megalodon tooth that I found on the same mound where I found another megalodon last season in the mine. On top of the the SR part of BRSR found another megalodon on the same hill. That's 3 megs all from the same hill. I'm thinking that Yorktown is pretty good stuff.

I just finished up reading the heated forum of the Calvert Cliffs Great White. This is the only tooth that seems to be even a possibility in my collection. This so happens to also be the very first meg/white tooth I ever found. It came from the northern most tip/oldest. The tooth obviously appears to be a lower Anterior position.

This is one of the nicest teeth to date.  It has a perfect tip and serrations all the way down.  It even has a little wrinkle on one side at the base of the enamel.

This is the first megalodon I found on my Aurora trip. I found it 10 minutes after the hunt started and I was too excited to slow down to take a ground photo. Sorry.

I decided to post a restored shark tooth for a few reasons. First, the blade on this Meg is great. Second, the classic Lee Creek coloration makes for an aesthetic tooth. With only some root damage, I thought this one was a good candidate for restoration.

It just doesn't get much better than this. Personal find from a couple of years ago.
