Translucent Spear Head   Colleton County, South Carolina, USA
Super cool translucent spear from the Edisto. I think its made of agatized coral which is not native to South Carolina so whoever made this had to trade for the material from Florida....
Savannah River Spear from the Edisto   Colleton County, South Carolina, USA
In 10 years, this is the best spear I've found in the Edisto. I feel like I have been looking for it for that long too! So many days I went out hunting, hoping that I would find something like this and then when it finally happened it was surreal. da fossz told me its a Savannah River type....
2-1/2" Spear Tip   Colleton County, South Carolina, USA

A nice spearpoint made from local chert.

2-3/4" Savannah spear   Lake Marion, South Carolina, USA

I guess relics get feeding damage too!! I wonder how this one broke?? Still, a nice spear.

1.5" Spear tip   Lake Marion, South Carolina, USA

A nicely made Lowcountry chert spear tip. It is broken at the base, but the serrated edges and sharp point are intact.

1-1/2" Spearhead   Dorchester County, South Carolina, USA

A decent spearhead from the BigDitch. The tip has been snapped off, but the dovetail and edge serrations are a work of art.

1-1/2" Spear tip   Colleton County, South Carolina, USA

A nice spear tip made of Low country chert. The base is rather robust.
