The Saturday Song and Dance

The massive rainfall on Thursday was good for fossil hunting everyhwere, and even though I wasn't foolish enough to think I was the first to walk the big ditch, I figured the volume of water that flowed through the ditch was bound to rinse out something nice. I didn't expect a big killer, but I did have my sights set high. I wanted another reef shark tooth, and unbelievably, I found one. Its a really nice one, to boot. Frosting on the cake was a decent little sqlualodon towards the end of my hunt. The shamer of the day was a 3 inch plus angustidens with no cusps. Amazingly enough, the tip was intact! Go figure. Just goes to show you that you don't have to be first at a spot to find something good, just lucky.
