Reminiscing About the River

This post is from the beginning of the diving season. I was going a lot back then and I didn't have time to post everything. This is one of those that had to wait. I remember I swam the surface all day, but I really didn't find much. Its because we went back to Ye Olde Faithful spot that we've dived 100 times before. There isn't much left on the surface there. Sand moves, so there will always be something new to find, but probably not the quantities we got used to.

Just before we were about to leave, I decided to flip over a bone that I had seen earlier in the dive and there was another side that I didn't see earlier. It turns out its the lower jaw of a turtle. Definitely fossilized and most likely oligocene like almost everything else at this spot in the river.
