In the River again....

Well all these diving posts by DW and I was ready to hit the water again. I also heard a few new fellow hunters were hitting the river saturday and wondered how they were going to do. I have been a certified diver for over a year now and have had my good diving days and my bad diving days. I just want to remind everyone who is getting into diving in these rivers that it is dangerous and to be very careful. Anyway after spotting three gators(one 10 footer) on the way to the dive site I was very alert to my surroundings where we were jumping in. The water was a comfortable 78 degrees, but the current was ripping so visibility where I was diving was 6 inches at best. It was rough but I managed upon a big ol principle Megalodon tooth today at 5-5/16ths inches(its an ugly Meg, but hey its a good size one with sharp serrations) along with a 3 inch Meg, a whale vertebrae, a deer leg bone, whale earbone, and a few other odds and ends. Any day I go diving is a fun day for me...be careful out there !
