This past Saturday was the Lafarge hunt. I was lucky enough to meet some very nice people and see a couple of big RIC'S come out the mine that were about 3 inches. As you can see from the pics I was able to score a couple of RIC'S one which was broken and one that messured in at 2 3/4 inches. Also was able to score a whale disk that was broken but still a nice find that is in the top of the picture. In the picture is also a whale bone that has some nice bite marks on it more than likely from a big RIC. I was lucky enough to be able to experience Lafarge and have these nice finds because of a long time fossil hunter and good friend from the low country that does not mind takeing time to teach people the ends and outs of fossil hunting.
