Pre Lee Creek Trip Report

As I sit in my hotel room, I can hardly wait to hunt Lee Creek tomorrow morning with Bullshark and a few more friends all the way from The Netherlands! Anyway, I was just looking at photos and I realized that I have a post from February that I never made. So now I have something fossil related to do while I wait to do more fossil related things tomorrow.

This trip was from an old location. Its not very productive, but at least once a week I go out to hunt. It doesn't matter what I find. I like being outside and getting the fresh air and exercise. But on this particular day, I hit a good vein of paleo-ore that was rich with colorful teeth. Almost all were broken except one little angustidens in very nice shape. It didn't have the color of the other teeth, but it is complete and sharp so I didn't complain.

Location Dorchester County, South Carolina, USA
