Another BIG Angustidens - What luck!

My friend J of the Golden Shovel was kind enough to take me to a new spot up in Dorchester County today where they are in the process of digging a brand new pond. What a great guy he is! About 30 minutes into the dig, I pulled out this giant 3 3/4" angy. Ok - two weeks in a row now, I have found a really large Angustidens tooth. I have some kind of luck with these things, I guess. Its a beauty, too. All orange with serrations. Get this - I was digging right next to him, 3 feet away, and he pulls out this absolutely gorgeous meg - blond with white streaks all through it, and about 5 1/2" long. I slobbered the whole rest of the day. And this isn't the first time, either. It seems that every time I go dig with him, I am right next to him when he finds a killer meg. The luck he has is simply amazing. One of these days, I am going to find another nice meggy digging. Next week I will have two days to dig, so I have a better chance. My birthday is coming up ;-)
