A quick scan of an older area...

Another day off...another opportunity to look for teeth and feed my tooth addiction. It wasn't bad weather today so I headed out to a spot I hadn't gone to for a while. When I arrived I saw the fossil gravel mixture immediately and started to scan where the majority was located. I was finding bits and pieces of teeth, but the whole teeth didn't seem to be out in the open. I then grabbed my trusty small shovel and started to flip over small chunks of dirt. Well out of the third or fourth flip of dirt a whole tooth appeared. It was small at 1-9/16ths inches, but it was a whole tooth and better yet it was a BENEDINI with a nice root, a sharp blade and tip. This is just a rare find and it made my day !
