RIP Old New Pond

Well, the pond I've been scoring so hard at lately is finished. Luckily I hunted it almost every day it was huntable so I have a whole bunch of pictures to put up. I'm going to try to get them all up over the next couple of weeks so be prepared for a blur of fossil madness! This was a post from months ago - one Saturday afternoon, da f0ssZ and mini f0ssZ came down to hunt with tha weEzlinG and myself. It was a dry, hot afternoon and we were basically hunting a vertical wall that had just been dug during the day before we got there. The boys were into it for a while, but finally they feel victim to the urge to play in the mud, leaving df and me to hunt knowing they were safely occupied. He ran into a spot where the broken megs flowed like water, while I dug a slightly less productive area. I got a sortof complete megalodon tooth, but nothing to make other hardcore hunters like myself drool.
