Pay Attention!

I walked my favorite ditch after a heavy rain and I got all the way to the end without finding the awesome tooth that had to have been exposed by the deluge. I started on my way back to the truck, but I never give up. I always look down even on the way home. About halfway through the ditch I spied a shine on the edge. A small but gorgeous angustidens was fully exposed on the bank. I easily could have missed this little gem!
