First, let me say that there is no such thing as a "Giant Reef Shark". They are all just reef sharks. But this tooth is the biggest reef shark tooth I've ever seen! Had it been the only tooth I found today, I would have been happy. But I'm still glad I found others! Is that greedy?... |

I am always happy to find these little gems. They are so rare - I only find a few per year, and the yellow ditch is the only place I ever found more than one. This tooth is as perfect as they come and is so sharp! I bet it could poke right through a steak with no problem all the way to the root without breaking.
Now I want to eat some meat. ... |

My second reef shark tooth of 2007! I found one a few months ago and I was very happy. I ended up trading it for some really nice Maryland material, so I needed a replacement. Voila - Nature provides! Apparently, the universe approves of the deal.... |

This little tooth is a killer! No damage to speak of. Just sharp. I love the way these teeth look. So fragile, yet so savage looking at the same time. And they are so rare that when I get one, I count myself lucky. This is only my fifth one ever!... |
