Retroflexus tooth

This is the first really nice tooth I've found in the yellow ditch in a while. To be fair though, we haven't had much rain and the ditch really needs a lot of water to move the leaves and litter. People have just been throwing their garage trash (old wagons, paint cans, bikes, tarps, carpet, you name it) in the ditch. Its really slack! The weezling went with me on this trip, and he found a hammer in all the junk.... |

When you go out hunting teeth, you never know when you're going to find something incredible. This is one of those unexpected finds that I'll never forget. They pulled all kinds of debris out of the big ditch and piled it up on the edge. I had been looking in those piles just to see if anything washed out, and I found this right in a clump of pure Chandler Bridge. Its flawless in every way. A beautiful tooth!... |
