I found this rhino tooth in the Spring. Its one of only a few known from NJ. I originally only found one half of the tooth, but I knew I broke it and the other half had to be around somewhere. So I went back a few days later and feverishly dug around for the rest because it would probably be lost forever if I did not find it on that day. Surly one of the rarest fossils I will ever find. This fragment of a tooth was identified as Rhino by a Paleontologist with the State Museum who also indicated it was from a lower tooth....
