I know next to nothing about this fossil from Madagascar except that it is beautiful. Its been polished to reveal the intricate patterns. At the wide end where the mollusk would have lived is a special feature. See the red? Its opalized, so when the light hits is right, it flashes red. Simply an amazing fossil.... |
