5/8" Tiger Shark Tooth   Monmouth County, New Jersey, USA - Galeocerdo aduncus
Tiger shark teeth are fairly common in the Miocene streams of NJ and most of the time, equally unremarkable. This tooth however is in really nice shape with a color that is very uncommon for the stream - a great little tooth....

An elongated root puts this one in a drawer with only a few other pathologic teeth in my collection. Its got a chip on the front, but its strangely in the shape of a megalodon tooth! a really cool little tooth....
