3 7/16" Pathologic Megalodon Shark Tooth

This is my best pathologic megalodon tooth to date - it looks like it got squeezed in between two teeth and could only eek out a little bit of room to grow.
Location Dorchester County, South Carolina, USA
Species Carcharocles megalodon
Age Pliocene Epoch
Formation Hawthorne Formation
Category Shark Teeth
Length 3 7/16 inches

ID982
Memberdw
Date Added3/31/2004

You can see the cool wave that the right side of the tooth has in addition to the obvious pathology you can see from the other two photos.
