1 1/8" Parotodus Benedeni Shark ToothI found this sifting a layer that was entangled in these massive roots. I chopped most of them out, then I splashed the hole to loosen the clay. Then I shoveled out the gravel and sifted it out in the bottom of the creek. This was the best thing I found that day, and it remains one of my most colorful benedeni specimens. It’s from a juvenile shark and dates from the miocene.
