Low tide was at noon today, I arrived at the beach about eleven. It was windy and cold. The recent rains and all the chop made for higher than average water line. Teeth where coming slow but at least they where coming. The first nice tooth I found was a large Tiger in great shape. It has bits of matrix cemented to it but mostly on the back. I found what I believe to be a peace of turtle shell, I could be wrong. The small bit of ray fossil stuck in matrix was pretty neat, it makes you think about how old this stuff really is. On the way back down the beach I found a few small teeth. Then right before I left I found a Cow shark tooth. Good day on the James. On the way home I stopped into my bar for some hot corned beef and cabbage and a few green pints. Happy St.Paddy's day, Jake.
