Terri and I left the house around 10:00 AM Friday since the drive down to Charmouth takes about 4 1/2 + hours...we arrived at the hotel and got settled in and I immediately went down the road to check out the fossil shop...really cool, they have a replica Tyrannosaurus Rex skull and several ichthyosaur skeletons around the shop as well as ammonites and so forth.
