Well the weather forecast was for cloudy and rainy...no big surprise there, hoowever, it did turn out to be the nicest day of the Holiday weekend. Low tide was for 2:15 PM but due to an off-shore storm breeze, the tide came in higher and quicker than estimated. Undaunted, I proceeded down the beach looking for whatever was possible to find. This is the first time I'm adding a trip to this, and the second time through...time outs are a bummer. Anyway, Here goes...This was a spur of the moment trip to hopefully find more than 4 teeth. However, the ocean wasn't very cooperative as it had dumped a load of sand covering all of the gravel pits and teeth with a pretty hefty layer. The trip started out by waking up at the wee hours of the morning (4:30 AM) and heading out by 6:30 AM to be a the site by low tide time of 8:00 AM. We arrived with no real trouble at all thanks to the Tom-Tom Navigation system I bought. Spent 6 hours searching fruitlessly and then took a break.
