sweet winter time

Hey long time no see guys...It all started on friday after work. It was a really nice day outside so I just couldnt wait for the weekend. I met johnny on the beach....It was a rough collecting. Some good stuff to look through but not 20 tons of it. I think my best find was a broken hemi. ..Those teeth will not be posted.

Saturday I did a mini choptank walk. I met a guy from the fossil forum..forgot his name. He did quite well..no megs from him but makos and hemis and some small stuff. I worked my way down the beach finding some small stuff. I ran into douggy. He had in his pocket the most southern meg ive ever seen on the beach at the cliffs. around 2.25 but it was pretty. (possibly 17) I found a 1 7/8 mako down a little ways and a piece of a meg. it was a very low tide and one of the best days ive ever seen there.

Sunday: the tide never went out that far despite continuing winds. I found a lot of teeth...At the same time all i did was walk the same quarter mile section of beach for 4 or 5 hours. I got a cool little meg....very good day huge number of teeth....

big plans for this weekend...........................

Nice finds Tony, I like those makos and the little meg especially. Looks like a lot wind this weekend, should be interesting. Maybe I'll see you out there. Content Quality : 10 of 10

Hey Tony, I'm the guy you met on Saturday (Jason a.k.a Hokiehunter). Very jealous of that mako. My best finds of the day were probably two hemis that went 1.675 inches, the broken hemi that would have gone 2", and a couple of makos in the 1.5" range. Not sure how on earth I missed it the Mako you found though. It's very cool. Oh well... always have next time. I'm pretty sure I'll sneak out again this weekend as well so maybe I'll see you out. Good luck! Content Quality : 10 of 10
