The water's not cold anymore!

Well a few days ago made it out to a beach in Surry, the water feels nice, and noone beached on every beach in sight.  Found a few teeth, sizeable Sand Tiger teeth, to me..  Was just telling my niece that sometimes 'something like this' ends up being an acorn cap, and it turned out to be this polished vert part.  Also nearby, I found what looked like a wolf tooth with worn roots, according to a picture in "Vertebrate Fossils: A Neophyte's Guide".   Anyone's opinion?  I'm up for any points of view.  Was just finding another heavily sedimented area and finding more, when the thunder rolled, and the rest of us called us in.  (Heard later that there was a hailstorm in Williamsburg)

-Had a stressful moment once, when I thought I may have broken a HUGE soft Mako tooth.... but pretty sure it was just a tooth shaped piece of wood.  :D
