This is a trip from this past Sunday. The weather was warm and the sun was out and shining! I didn’t want to pass up this opportunity to hunt teeth and I’ve had the itch to go out and hunt for awhile. I went to the local ditch down the street in my neighborhood to dig up the spot where I found associated whale bones from a previous trip. I got down in the ditch and noticed how overgrown it is getting. There are trees growing out of the banks!

On the way to the dig site I spotted a complete angustidens shark tooth almost fully exposed in the middle of the creek. I took a ground photo while it was still under water because it looked too awesome to pass up. Then the digging frenzy began! I only had an hour to dig and wanted to find as much as possible. I didn’t find any killers, but there is always next time!
