On Friday I found myself with the unexpected opportunity to go tooth hunting all day.  I got to the beach at about 6:30 AM, about 3 1/2 hours before low tide, and there was nobody else there yet!  Unfortunately, the conditions were pretty lousy.  The water was absolutely still, with no wave motion at all, so anything under the sand was going to stay there today.  I did manage to find a few decent Makos, the largest being a black lower anterior at 1-5/8 inch, and a near-perfect upper Cowshark tooth.  Around 10 AM, the beach was starting to get crowded, and the waves still weren't moving anything around, so I decided to head to the Potomac, which I will cover in a separate report.
